Poor things! Exactly what do you mean by 'colds in their eyes"? Are they watery or goopy and stuck shut? If they are goopy and/or stuck shut, check out this thread first: http://www.thecatsite.com/forums/showthread.php?t=54375

But, if you have any doubts, they need to seen by a vet. They could have an upper respiratory infection and that can become serious quickly in kittens.

Good luck and please keep us updated!

My kittens had that, and it was an upper respiratory infection. And if 2 have it, the 3rd one has it or will probably get it too, as well as the Mom. The vet medicated all of them with antibiotiocs and eye salve and all were fine in a few days.

However, what the rescue group did (and which you might consider) is taking only one of the kittens who has it to the vet (as long as there's nothing else wrong with them), and if they give you medication, ask them for enough for all, which will be a lot less expensive.

A third vote for a vet visit here. Eyes discharging goop can become ulcerated if the condition is not treated quickly and as Charmed said, it could be the beginning of a URI.

Please get them treated now so they don't have any long term problems! Rocky has an eye w/a corneal ulcer that probably started this way and when you first see him it is kind of off putting. The shelter had a hard time adopting him, and he doesn't see so well out of that eye. It kind of bothers me when I see the other cats looking out the window at a bird and I know Rocky can't see it.
