I am thinking about getting a new digital camera temporarily since we are having issues with my old one. I'd like to get one for under $150 since it'll be temporary but I'd like for it to have a flash. Does anybody have any that they have had experience with and liked??

I don't know the price, but we love our Kodak Easyshare. It is at least 4 years old now and still does an excellent job!

I paid just about $150.00 for mine at Wal Mart, and It does very nicely for me. It is an HP Photosmart M415, 5.2 MP, 3X optical zoom, built-in flash. I think this model has been discontinued, but they may still have something similar for a comparable price. I know there are lower-priced cameras available, but they may have lower resolution and fewer features. What you spend depends on what you need and want, I guess. Good luck.

That looks pretty good, especially since it comes with its own rechargable battery. I had to buy rechargable AA's for mine.

The one I have now is old and kind of a POS. We were thinking Tara's dad would get us a nice one as a wedding gift but if I find a decent one we might just pick it up instead.

I was looking at one of those too but I need something with more zoom, which everything costs more. So I lied about my budget.

I really like this one so far:

I am going to the store tonight to see if they have one I think.

There was a stunning picture in Fur Pictures of a Bengal leaping off a cat tree, and went on to say which camera he/she had used. it must be much faster than most digitals. If I had tried that sort of shot the cat would have been gone before the shutter clicked. I can't find the link to it but it is in fur pictures somewhere.

I can definitely recommend HP Photosmart. I have the 735, which is no longer available new. Features, specs, etc here. On the basis of this experience, I'd certainly buy HP again, and unless I develop a need for lots of bells and whistles, I'd probably stay close to the bottom of the line, rather than spend a lot of $$. This one was under $200 CDN new.

I ended up with the Kodak EasyShare Z740. I've only taken 5 pictures so far, but I am in love with it!!!
