What a long day Friday was with no TCS.

How was everybody's weekend?

Mine was great!!

Tara and I went and picked up our puppy on Saturday (yes, yes, we are working on pics, having a problem with my POS digi cam right now.)

He is a Belgian Shepherd Tervuren and Schipperke mix. We named him Bootland. He's been such a great dog so far. He's 5 1/2 weeks old, sleeps in bed with us and we wake up about every 2 hours at night to take him out and then about every 20 minutes during the day. Cats aren't too fond of him right now.
I think we might try to find somebody to take our 2 females since 4 cats and a dog is just too much work.
If we do give them up, I promise we'll find a great home for them, somebody who can spend more time with them than we can right now.

So what did you do this weekend??

I hope you can work it out with the new puppy & the all the cats. I now it's a great deal of work, but this stage won't last forever and cats & dogs can learn to live together harmoniously. There's lots of people here with multiple cats & dogs living in one big happy furry family!

What a long day Friday was with no TCS.
No doubt! I got so much housework done instead, it was shocking!

The cats house, we just pay the mortgage..
Isn't a puppy more work than 4 cats? I know my mums puppy is...
Thats cool you got him though! Sounds like a lovely puppy.

Monday is pretty shabby here, it's been raining buckets all day but I have tomorrow off due to the strike so I'm not too bothered! My Mum is coming up to see me

It is a gorgeous day outside and I am stuck here at work. They still have the heat on in here and I am roasting!!!!

The weekend was good - got a little extra sleep. John took Kevin Staturday morning and let me get an extra 2 hours and then Kevin slept ALL night in his own bed on Saturday night (too bad not last night).

Only down part of the weekend was my lacrosse team lost!!

But I got a picture of me, Kevin and the lacrosse player who put me into labour last year (it was autograph day). For those of you who don't knwo the story, I was a week overdue with Kevin, went to a lacrosse game and 5 fights broke out in the last minute of play. The longest/ best fight got me up and screaming for my guy to kick the other guy's butt (an he did). Couple of hours later my water broke and 12 hours after that Kevin was here! The lacrosse player thought the story was hilarious!

Hope eeveryone has a good day!

It'll be tough to do. We are undecided right now but will give it some time to see.

Except my Mum doesn't have a puppy!

Afternoon everyone!

It's quite dull and rainy here today (didn't even get the Spring morning that we had over the weekend
) so another day indoors for me!

I'm still trying to get my WiFi Broadband connection up and running, but I keep hitting hurdles - so I'm taking a break using my dial-up!

I might be getting a new TV tonight!
A joint birthday present for me and my house mate from my Mum!

Thats a good idea! I would have rather take holiday because I'm not participating in the March or anything but we couldn't apply for it so I lose a days pay
nothing I can do though, theres no way I'm facing the angry mobs!
Lie ins for us tomorrow

Great! We just adopted a 4th cat into our home (see Meet Whitey pictures in the Fur Pictures). We're going through a lot also! Luna isn't taking so well to him...she's the type of cat that really just doesn't like other cats. Things were a little better this morning. Both were sitting on separate window sills watching the birds outside.

We're giving the cats time though, but if Luna doesn't come around we may just give Whitey to a new home, since Luna was here first.

Just remember to allow each other plenty of time to sleep. I ran on 9 hours of sleep all weekend (due to cat cries and hissing and such - I guess I'm the lighter sleeper since BF slept right through it all) and my boyfriend began to irritate me after so long. Even though I know he was joking around with me, because of lack of sleep I'm just extra sensitive! So I finally just crashed at 1 pm on Sunday and slept for 2 more hours. It made a world of difference for me!

Yeah, I can see it getting tiring pretty quickly.
He does a great job sleeping at night on the bed with us and then if he needs to go out when we aren't awake, he will wake Tara up and she wakes me up to take him out.
The first night he did go potty on our comforter so we have to get that cleaned now.
He's had a couple little accidents around the house (all #1) so no big deal. I'm already pretty tired from not really being asleep last night due to worrying about him.

Ooooh! I can't wait to do that!! I don't mind getting up earlyish on my days off, it's a waste otherwise! (unless I have a hangover)

He sounds pretty well behaved. I know Tara works a different shift to you so theres probably someone usually at home but a word of advice, he has to get used to being alone, early, or you will have a nightmare on your hands and no social life. It broke my Mums heart shutting her pup in the utility room alone but he can't have run of the house when she's out because he will tear it to shreds.
I hope you get everyone working together and we get some really cute pics of all 4 cats snuggled up with the Puppy!

Wow! You'll have to train him on how to cross his legs at night!
My brother and sister in law usually take their dogs out before going to bed. That will pretty much last them until morning. One hint of advice, you may want to do what Pombina said and lock him up...at least for the first couple of weeks. If he "goes" in his cage, he'll eventually train himself to hold it. They don't like having leftovers in someplace they're suppose to sleep.

Lucky You!! I hope you get the car you want!!

I brought the Prelude home last night!
She got a bath and an R&R Racign sticker applied so now she is officially part of the family!! LOL

Saturday we went racing 2 hours away. It was supposed to be a day race that turned into a night race.
We didn't get home until 3 am. We got to the track at 11 am!! Then there was a big wreck 2 classes before Lee went out to race and they told all the drivers if there was any more beating and banging they were going to DQ you. They only did thay for the ones who were out of towners. THe locals got away with all the rough stuff. Lee should have won after being spun out by another driver and put the the back (the other driver should have been put to the back, Not Lee) and coming back to the lead and the second place guy kept trying to spin Lee out and Lee ended up grabbing the body of the guys kart and hanging on to keep him from winning. A friend of ours ended up winning so its all good.
