getting extremely annoyed...*RANT*

Oh my gosh my favorite question ever....Why..are some people so dumb?!?

I mean honestly shouldn't the words "I don't care." pretty much mean "Drop the subject you're driving me nuts!"

Someone kept talking about Nikki Sixx and saying rumors that are all negative and are more than likely FALSE! I kept saying "Dude..I don't care.." and she kept going and going and going! I was getting real mad because Nikki Sixx is my idol and the biggest influence on my life ever and this person was just sitting there spilling out all these negative things about him! I seriously was 2 seconds away from knocking her out! Even when I tried to drop the subject she kept it going! I finally snapped and ended up screaming every curse word in the book and probably making up my own in the process!

It went a little something like this:
*Jerry springer beep as every now and then one little "the" or "and" spills out..then I storm off*

Not only that I'm getting overwhelmed by severe peer pressure of "You should move out!"

Yeah ok allow me to drive over to your place and see where that brought you in life! IDIOT!

I'm not sure who Nikki Six is, but whoever you were talking to was inconsiderate and pretty thick in the head. If youre rambling on about something and the other person isn't responding, theyre either mad at you or don't want to talk about it. Doh! And I bet after you left she was like "well, where did that come from?"

Pllllh.

I don't know who Nikki Six is either (I'm guessing some rockstar? but anyway...) I agree that they shoud have left you alone. However, if saying that you don't care wasn't working... Maybe just try saying something along the lines of, "It doesn't matter what you say, it won't change my opinion. Will you PLEASE just leave me ALONE?? You're really getting on my nerves How would you like it if I talked trash about somebody YOU really look up to?!!" Might help more? Or just plain ignoring them??? I'm sorry this person was being really annoying to you....

Nikki Sixx is the bassist for Motley Crue. I know what it's like to have someone talk crap about someone you admire. When I first started playing guitar about 6 years ago, I was really into Metallica's guitarist, Kirk Hammet. I would wear the Metallica shirt and my guitar case had the Metallica label on it etc. Then one day someone came up to me and started to talk crap about Metallica. After about 3 months of this I finally snapped just like you Lil_Axl_Gurl.

At times like this the smartest answer is....

"i dont care if you dont like them, you have to respect me for my opinion and choices" if they dont then put them on your ignore list

When I state my opinion I'm respectful about it. See I don't really like Metallica but I don't go up and say "Omg metallica is horrible!" I say "That's great that you like them I never have really been a fan!" Or something along those lines.

This person probably is use to everyone agreeing with her (whether they truely agree or not) and probably wants to be your friend, and that's the only thing she knows about Nikki Sixx.

Example:
I remember one girl was trying to get me to hang out with her on a Monday night. I'm the type of person if I start drinking on a Monday, then I know my week is going to be bad. So I try to avoid bars and such on Monday night. She WOULD NOT Accept "NO" as an answer. Finally after 10 minutes of the nonsense, I turned to her and said, "What part about NO do you not understand?"
One the people that witness this said later that she really likes me and wants to be my friend. I responded thats not the way to do it. If you want to be my friend you respect my decisions, you don't continue to pester me.

i think alot of it has to do with the way some people are raised . I have noticed that alot of people now days don't respect anything about anyone else they are not taught proper etiquitte(sp?) when it comes to respecting other people and their feelings or beliefs. personally speaking Nikki Sixx is drop dead georgous and has over come so much in his life and very well deserves the respect that alot of people who don't deserve it get. btw have you seen his photography!!! omg i would love to have such talent and have it come so naturally!!

Yeah I've seen it. I can't wait to get his book!! I had already admired Nikki as a bassist but after reading The Dirt I definitly admire him more so as a person!!
