Photobucket or Tinypics

Will EITHER of these work on a MAC? My scanner wont make the file small enough and neigher will it's photo editing program. Photo shop costs BIG BUCKS and I cannot afford it.

i'm not having any difficulty veiwing photobucket pix posted by other members on my mac...haven't tried uploading to it, but it works for pasting the [IMG] links, because i changed my signature from here at home. i use a mac at home, a pc at work. i don't know anything about tinypics...

I can't imagine why photobucket wouldn't work as it is online and not installed, not sure about tinypics

There are also a lot of programs ALOT cheaper than photoshop for simple editing that photobucket would do.

Try

ImageWell (download here) its freeware with no limitations

Image Tricks (download here) its also freeware with no limitations but you can apply filters and effects to smake signature type graphics and remove red eye etc

And I know quite a few Mac users who use The GIMP (download here) but you will need to download Apple's X11 app. (link on download pages for GIMP)

Also did your mac come with iPhoto installed?
