Well, I took new pics last night. The babies are 10 days old now, and starting to open their eyes.

Kitten #1 is a brown tabby.

Kitten #2 is also a brown tabby, twin to #1.

#2 says, "But I'm cuter, Mom!"

#3 is a brown tabby, but has swirls on the sides. S/he is the runt.

Then #4, a gray tabby who is suspiciously fluffy. I think this one might be longhaired.

And precious #5, who is named Miracle!

A face shot of Miracle, who has one black eye and one white! I thought this was a tuxie kitten, but there are tabby stripes showing on the sides.

And last but not least, #6, another brown tabby but with lots of white.

Sarabi is such a good Mommy. She never goes more than a few feet from the babies. She has an 8 by 15 ft room to explore, but is more interested in keeping those kittens safe!

Due to her great care, all are gaining weight regularly, and staying clean and fluffy. If they cry, she responds. Not like the housecat Mommies, who let the babies cry a little. This girl has had litters outside, I'm sure, and knows she needs to stay with them and keep them happy and quiet!

She will never be outside again, but I can't fault her for being such a careful, loving Mommy.

Maybe Miracle will look like Leo when s/he grows up...a really dark tabby. They are just so cute. I could never choose one, so its good that I can't keep any. Each is so cute and special in their own way!

Oh my gosh they are so adorable. It's a really good thing that I live so far away from you! Each and every one is beautiful. And the Momma...

Miracle is the perfect name for sweet #5 baby.
Because of you, your friend and her loving Mama she and her litter mates are growing like furry little weeds.
I'm in love all over again.

You have to stop, Becky! My husband has threatened me with much seriousness about even considering bringing another cat into our house!
(Of course, he's gone 6 days and home 3...wanna bet I could hide a new one for those 3 days?
)

Yeah, when I brought Sarabi home, dh was a little surprised. He said, "I thought you gave up fostering?!?"

Or the day I decided to keep Jasmine...I think he is a little afraid we will end up overloaded with kitties! LOL! No danger of that, right?
