The cats house, we just pay the mortgage..
I got this bright idea a few hours ago, I started taking the bedroom to pieces and sorting clothes, papers, everything. The place looks like a bomb site. I can't be bothered finishing it and wish I had never started, since I have every other room to clean aswell.
Anyone else ever do this?
Also I need to change the bed, and could have done with putting the sheets in the machine before I started this, but now because the bed is covered with junk I'm not going to be able to put the machine on until I finish it.
Aaaaaaah, give me a kick up the bum to make me finish it pleeeeeease!!

ALL the time. Oh, I hear ya!

Feels great when it's all done though - and then you vow you're going to keep it that way FROM NOW ON...until the next time you have a big clean-out!

OMG I do that a lot, too!!

I get all hyped up and start it then 2 hours later it's like...ughhhh...WHY did I even start this??!

When I really need to finish I usually try playing some music I like while I'm working on it and take a break every now and then. Good luck!

And i bet you feel better that it's done?!.

I normally have a routine with doing house work on a thursday evening so that come friday when my weekend starts i can relax. I didn't do it thursday because i wasn't going to town today, but i really wished i'd done it

This sounds stupid but i couldn't enjoy my breakfast this morning because i had to get cracking and get it done and out the way, so i got started as soon as i could and felt ralaxed after it

I know exactly what you mean. I knew the place needed a big clean this morning but I was so tired after my long drive back last night, I thought about going back to sleep after Mark left for work...could I keep my eyes shut? nope. I just got up and cleaned

Mark even commented on how clean the place was when he got home! A job well done

Haha no, that was just when I replied saying I'd finished. It took me about 3 hours. I don't understand why, when I clean everyday. I suppose I just do it extra hard on a Saturday

I do it all the time! Put on some really fun music and drink a soda or something, you'll get in the mood! Good luck!

Golly, I do this too! The worst is when I get started on my bookcases. I'll begin in the morning, but by the early afternoon I'll be sitting on the floor, reading. All around me are towers of non-orginzed books. They will probably be the death of me one day! ..."Woman smothered under piles of books ... procrastination suspected."
