how long are they meant to be in labor before kittens come??

Hi Holly has taken to biting my face, not like in a vicious way but when I pat her she is biting at my chin, anyone heard of them doing this? No kittens yet! seams to be taking for ever!! help anyone?

The link above is a really good one. When you say labour, do you mean pregnancy? The first stage of abour only truly begins once the cat loses her mucous plug, her temperature drops and she begins to be restless. This stage usually lasts 12-24 hours but can go as long as 36 hours.
