I think Holly is in Labor HELP Im really nerves!!

she has been running around the house all day, jumping onto the couch and tables screaming, I think she is confused.She has milk now and has doubled in size over night LOL right now she is lying on side and I can see her hind legs have a little shake to them and Holly is pulling them up and down slightly like she is tensing....Im so nerves. Her mother had three babies and two died so Holly was the sole survivor in her litter,hoping its not going to run in the family, what now?? anything I should do??

Just sit with her quietly and be calm ... speak to her in soothing tones, dim the lights a little (but not enough that you can't see well) and be there for her.

Is she in her nest now? If not it would probably be a good time to move her there.

She hates the nest I made her, the only place she will go is one side of the couch! She wont you know , have them there will she ?? AAARRR I hope not, she is purring and breathing deeply, looks scared and unsure..but happy to have me pat her..I will keep you updated

Can you move the nesting materials to the side of the couch were she wants to be? It might help to calm her a little and of course, protect your couch.

You need to get her onto something warm, soft and that she can snuggle down into ... old sheets are perfect, a fuzzy blanket you can wash, soft towels you don't use anymore. All of these things would be good.

You can always move her (or try to anyway) after the kittens are born and she is settled.
