Where are my babies!!!!!

I'm getting ready to turn in soon and I turned to look at my bed (which usually contains at least 3 furbabies, if not 4) and it's empty!!! I am shocked. I actually had to do a double take to make sure I was seeing things right. They are always there - ready for bed. I am lost without them!!

and as I type this....here comes Snickers. At least that's one...... .....I need the others.
How many of you out there (who complain and won't normally admit it) - can't sleep unless you are "contorted" into some kind of impossible position by your furrbabies?? I can't sleep without them and am feeling rather lost tonite...
My usual sleeping arrangement:

I used to sleep with Harley every night - and couldnt sleep unless he was there, but now he's insisted on sleeping else where, I miss him sleeping with us at night!

My cats don't sleep with me consistently. I usually have at least one, but the combination is sort of unpredictable. Leo usually likes to sleep in bed with me if I'm the only other one in the bed, but he's been known to be "generous" and let, say, Ian also share our bed.

Love the drawing! I would have to add a 100 pound dog who usually sleeps across my legs too. Ethel only snuggles until I go to sleep then I guess she figures her job is done and goes to sleep someplace else!

I think it looks so funny when they sleep with one paw stretched waaaay out like that.

The drawing is great . Maggie May always sleeps with me, Jazz has been asseting her independence lately and sleeping in the living room. I miss her not being on the bed with us!

Ha ha that's great! The times I have had to sleep diagonal so not to disturb just one cat - can't imagine if I had to cope with more than one of the bed though!

last night kaylee decided to sleep in my dads bed, he didnt want to move her off she was sleeping on the most part of the blanket and he didnt want to disturb her so he ended up sleeping wiht out a blanket

Laugh? - you're welcome.......but as any catowner knows - what I have drawn is the truth. (and don't any of you try to deny it.....:lol3)

Ok - now that I've already posted twice on this (been away from the computer for while)....everyone I notice has the same basic "theme" - that they get such a "kick" out of my drawing and it's so funny.......don't try to tell me you all don't sleep this way cause I KNOW you do (at least the ones with 3+ furbabies can relate). People are commenting in my "contortion" and my legs all splayed out - YOU ALL SLEEP THIS WAY every nite!!! Time to admit it---- we all contort ourselves in any way we can to let our little furbabies be as comfortable as possible.

Yep you are sooooo right!!!!!!! I end up doing that just about every night AND I have a tiny twin bed..... Usually half of me isn't even on the bed lol!! I can so relate to that picture!!

But still the picture is funny!

Yep thats how I sleep as well Charlie is usually between my legs, Jade on my feet & Tommy in the small of my back. Sol only joins us if Jade isn't there and she tends to favour Chris.

I get a strip of about 10 cm on the edge of a king size water bed... Chris gets 2/3 of the bed and the cats dot themselves round us... thank god the dogs stay on the floor
