Cat is pregnant - can you guess how far along she is (pic)

Has she been seen by a vet?? She looks large....but I try not go gauge delivery based on size.

A vet can give you a more accurate assessment. Are you seeing or feeling kittens?

You can feel the kittens moving around in her but I dont see them moving around.

I would say from the movement and the belly size probably not too much longer to go. My kitty gave birth yesterday and she was about that size. Her nipples were a little bit bigger though.

I just brought her home from animal control this evening so I wont be able to call the vet and make an appointment until tomorrow morning. I have never had an animal that was pregnant before so I have no idea myself how to tell how far along she is.

Hey Paws..first of all..thank you for rescuing a pregnant cat that was at the local shelter. Second, from the pictures above and your description, my (Gaye's) guess is that you have about 1 week to 10 days maybe as much as 2 weeks before these babies are born.

she should have them in 4-6 days, and she is healthy according to the vet.

I will take new pictures and post them. I dont know how I messed up the last ones, but my account is messy, and not showing up today, so maybe I should use another photo host?

No kittens yet, but any day. The vet had said within 4-6 days.

Today is the first day she has let me touch her, and she even jumped on my lap!

I am calling her Mura.

Beautiful she is so pretty. My Skittles friend that was outside with her (no clue if male/female) Looks just like her. I named her friend smokey. I plan to try to spay or neuter if I can get him/her. I love the color....

She's beautiful! She looks like she's a naturally small cat...it's so funny to see these tiny cats so out of proportion with their big tummies! Hehe.

Mura reminds me of my cat, Moose, who we had to put down last year because he had liver cancer. She's absolutely adorable, and gorgeous eyes! The same kind of eyes Gemma has, actually...the orange orange eyes. Hee.

I hope she has good'n'healthy babies!
