Morning everybody. For some reason I still think today is only Wednesday.
Guess that's good news!

Had a good dinner last night. Tara made roast and mixed it in with noodles, it was soooo good. Then we parted ways, she got online to look for puppies and I went and worked out.

What did everybody do last night?

Have a great Thursday!!!

Good day everyone. I am testing myself to see how long I can stay off the quiz sites today. I have been at work for a whole hour and haven't even peeped at 1 quiz (although I am tempted). Didn't do much last night. Had dinner, played with the kid and cats, gave kid (not cats) a bath, watched some tv and went to bed. I did not want to get up when the alarm went of at 5:30 this morning. I can't wait until the weekend!

Hope everyone has a good day!

The cats house, we just pay the mortgage..
Good afternoon! I am so stressed out. My car is in the garage, I didn't think there was anything wrong with it but it turns out there is. So I am sitting here waiting for the incompetant mechanics to fix it, they are on the phone to Mark every 5 minutes and he's already had to go down and show them how to do something. Unfortunately nobody else could do an MOT at such short notice.
I have to get this car sorted!!!!! It's to get down to Nottingham for my Grandads funeral tomorrow

Lauren don't get to stressed about the car. I found my dream car last ngiht but I can't buy it. Dad probably won't cosign the loan and my interest rate will be through the roof. So I think I am going go ahead and buy they prelude without dad. He doesn't want me to buy anyhting but I have to have a car..

I am really ill with him right now. I am not paying that much money for a car I don't like and won't wnant to drive in a few years. He wants me to buy something cheap so I am buying the Prelude.(I like the prelude though)

I'm sure your car will be ready, Lauren!
I'll be thinking of you tomorrow, too

My day improved the moment the idiot parked infront of my drive moved after getting a hint from the Police!

I'll be off to Asda and In Store in a bit to grab the things I need - now that I'm once again free!

Oh yeah and last night, I bought an Airport Base Station that should arrive tomorrow!
Wireless broadband here I come!

I saw your thread. I can't believe people do that. So the police DID take care of it?

I know!

Yeah, the Police managed to get hold of the guy who owns it and he moved! He had to really, as the Police were going to take it away if he didn't!

That is what we were going to get to begin with but Dad didn't think it was a good idea to pay $3,000 for a 92 with 160,000 miles on it. Well I picked out this gorgeous blue mazda 6 manual trans sport package great reliable car. Dad wouldn't even come and look at it. So I am just going to go back and test the prelude out and probably buy it. Lee has the sunfire in the shop right now to see if it can be rescued for sure or not. (No matter what I am buying the Prelude so we can park the gas guzzling truck except on weekends and keep some miles off of it.)

I hope people do stop parking there otherwise I'll end up weilding my walking stick as a weapon!

I'll be learning how to professionally break into and hot wire cars too!

Well my day is going well.

Phenomsmom, good luck with the car buying. It's tough, especially when the parents won't cosign. But if I remember right, I got my first car around 21 and I didn't need to have a cosigner. Preludes are excellent cars!

I agree, you are over 21, have a job with a regular income, have your own place. Why does your Dad need to cosign? Just go for it on your own.
I got a loan for my car when I was 18, and have paid it off already so I own my car outright. Its a great feeling (even though its not worth much..)

I vaccuumed this morning and finished priming trim boards.
Chatted with a friend on the phone and then called about the landscaping job I'm bidding on and chatted with the person who is making final decision. I feel a bit better about getting the job now!!
Mom and Dad are coming in about an hour or so. Neil had LOTS of firewood to split and stack so Dad will be helping him with that. I have a few errands. We will also finish up my parent's taxes too.
I'm trying to stay away from websites with games on them-I've been really playing them alot lately!!!

We aren't buying the car from a lot but a firend of ours. So the bank says that since I have no credit at all they can't check on payment history etc. They say I have to havea cosigner. My dad is just being difficult.
