Weird, Random Things about You

A few more of what makes me, well me..

I have 2 tattoos, one of Tigger on my left arm and a Black Panther on my right

I spend way too much on dvds and books, and dont have enough time to read/watch what i buy

Hate shopping for clothes

For once in my life I actually feel normal! J/K
I share a lot of the previously posted oddities, and probably can't name all of my quirks, b/c to me they are normal but here goes:
-I am obsessive about the way my closet looks, everything has to be faced the correct way, I sort by sleeve length, if it gets outta whack it flips me out!
-My socks have to be on the "right feet" I look at my socks everytime to see where the big part has been streched out, because I hate the feeling of bunched up socks!
-I have a really really sensitive sense of smell
-I cringe more at animal injuries than I do seeing human injuries.
-I worry about animals I can't even see (for example I worry about all the outside pets and so forth being, cold, wet, hot, etc.) And I always get bummed if I try to think about how many animals die in a day for whatever reason.
-Roadkill depresses me!!
-I judge foods on their smell and consistency than how they actually taste...
-I always think about the weirdest things and get myself all worked up if it's about a fight or argument or anything bad like that.
-I have horribly soft teeth and an abnormal fear of needles which makes for a really bad combination at the dentist
-spiders of all sizes scare the willies out of me!! I will wreck my truck if I see one while driving! I can't function at all if I know a spider is any where near me!
-I'm 24 and have a 12 year old sister!!
- I could go on and on, but I should probably stop...

-I've always hated team sports. Watching AND playing. Can't stand 'em. Not sure why.
-I used to be afraid of cats. Really, really afraid of them.
-I used to collect Eeyore things...you know, the donkey from Winnie the Pooh. I kept all of them, but stopped buying them.
-I have been to Disney World 23 times, and yet, I've lived in the Chicago metro area for my entire life.
-Even when I was vegan, I'd occassionally sneak some sashimi. I'm addicted to it.
-There are not one, but 2 cats on lap right now.
- I'm AMAZING at standardized tests. I consider it my hidden talent.
-In my opinion, the most attractive older man alive is Jon Stewart.
-My mom burned bras in the 70's (surprise, surprise)
-I have never had cereal with milk on it. The whole idea has made me nauseous since I was a toddler.

Whhhyyyyyy? We're really nice here! More friendly than in other big cities I've been to. And, I've found that as long as you use common sense, there's absolutely no reason to be scared or paranoid. The neighborhood I live in is really busy and lively, 24/7, so I always feel safe.

Then again, I spent a month in rural Indiana last summer and it was so quiet and dark at night that I couldn't sleep! My old apartment leaned right up against the El tracks, so it was sort of like that part in Blue Brothers

You are very welcome - I'll actually pass the thanks on to my daughter. Once when we were going somewhere in the car (I was driving) and the sign said get in left lane... I was in the left lane and she said "aren't you going to get in the left lane" I said yeah... so this went back and forth, the whole time I "was" in the left lane... then when we were almost ready to turn... she screams..... MOM, GET IN THE LEFT LANE! I said "I am and always have been in the left lane"

My brother lives in Chicago proper(I think that's what its called). Someone broke into his Dodge Durango to steal a loaf of bread. They left his $200 digital camera sitting there, though. Some people are weird! lol My bro graduated for Illinois Institute of Technology(southside of Chicago) & was right along the El. I hated the noise. I prefer my country life! I would be at home in rural Indiana, & lost in Chicago!

*i love to touch bonnies feet, they are sooooo soft and pink and are just the sweetest thing ever.

*i won't eat any food that has passed it's used by date.

*my scalp is really sensetive and if anyone touches it i get shivers down my spine.

*i always dab the grease off pizza even though i know it makes no difference.

*i eat cream biscuits by dissecting them and eating a half at a time.

*if food has a funny texture i won't eat it no matter how good it tastes.

*i choose clothing mostly by the texture of the material.

*i talk to my pets all the time like people and get disapointed they can't answer back.

*i'm an avid snorkeller and love swimming/spearfishing but i won't go in the water unless i can see what's under me, murky water freaks me out and i never go in it because i don't know what's 'down there'.

*i'm petrified of hornets and will not go outside if i see one flying around.

*if i find a hair in my food i lose my appetite for a day.

*i believe in the five second rule regarding food but i will neer eat from a tin of food that's been opened for a few days.

*i love to eat, corn, peas and creamed corn straight from the tin but hardly ever any other way.

*i love totally deserted beaches early in the morning where i can walk for ages with nass and not see a soul.

*i drink out of the bathroom sink too but no other sink

*i love waking up early when caqmping and having a coffee near the fire.

*i have trouble telling my left from my right too

A few more things about me:

-If I'm not in a restaraunt or at someone else's house, except for a good friend's, I always use a napkin to take most of the sauce off my pizza I HATE sauce. Most of the time. Unless it's smooth w/ no tomatoe chunks Hey I told you I'm a picky eater!!

-When I eat a sandwich/cheeseburger, I don't bite right into it. I break off small pieces and eat it a little at a time. I am really slow at eating things I don't know why but it's annoying. If I eat quickly I feel sick or full right away.

-I LOVE flavored water

-When I see a cute kitty/cat/any other cute/adorable animal on TCS, I always say "awwwwwww" out loud lol I can't help it!!

-I don't sing in the shower, but I do "sing" in the car/around the house or while cleaning.

-I like analog clocks better than digital ones

-I own about 4 hairbrushes, 3 of which my dog has chewed up

-My eyes are blue on the edges, green toward the middle, and gold-ish/a glowy yellow right around the pupil.

I cannot have anything on my plate mixing or touching except corn and mashed potatos

I am obsessed with the show LOST

I loooove Stuffed Cabbage

After 24 years of life I cannot keep my bedroom floor clean for anything.

I cannot sleep unless the tv is on quietly

I have my septum, and until just recently had my nipples pierced

I plan to get a surface piercing on the back of my neck and a peacock sort of design up my side (when I lose a little weight)

I love thunderstorms, hate the sun unless I am inside

I prefer to keep to myself but I like to be around people at the same time if that makes sense

I love reading and learning all about serial killers and my favourite is Ed Gein

I liked learning spanish in school and I still want to learn more, but I really don't care much for mexico or mexican things (except food), I hated taking french in school but I got into the habit somehow of spelling things like theatre, favourite, colour, etc...

I hate running

I am not obsessivly cleaning my house (see the thread I posted called The most horrifying thing ever)

Just came back from dinner and realized that I forgot earlier to say that I only eat french fries that are square on both ends. If they are pointy or mushy, I won't eat them.
I waste a lot of fried b/c of this, but luckily I'm usually with someone who will eat the "bad" ones for me.

I am was adopted, so was my mom, grandmother, greatgrandmother, great-great grandmother.
I use to hate pepper or any spices, unitll I got pregnant, now I can't get food spicy enough.

My best and ONLY friend is my husband, next in line is my cat.
I made a deal with bugs that if I did not kill them they would not bite me, I never even get a mosiquito bite now.
I would gladly go to jail protecting an animal but could care less about humans.
I have not had a real job in over a year.
I have met my birthmother.
I like to dig for crystals.
I really like to drink wine but HATE beer.
I don't speak to my adoptive family anymore.
I love to read but have a hard time understanding what I read.
I can talk about any thing, ask me to write about it and forget it.
I am known as the queen of useless information.

I can not spell to save my life.

My husband thinks I am a freak.
I was raised the baby of the family but born as the oldest.

My upstairs neighbor (girl) thinks I am a god. She is the girl in the "have you ever met someone so dumb" thread. Her boyfreind is here now and he told me she thinks I am great.

My favorite job was as a nail tech, (go figure, I hate people but love working with them)

I am smaller than I was in high school(size 8 in high school, now a 4).

My brother and I were both adopted but our birthdays are a day apart( I am April 25th, he is April 26th)
I think humans are a plauge to the planet
I think womans lib ruined children and family values(think about it)

There is a lot more but if I keep going I will make peolpe mad. Like I said my husband thinks I am a freak. I can see both sides of every issue. Outside of my husband and cat you guys are the only people I talk to. My husband says I am a living cunundrum(sp?). I don't understand what he means by that but from what I can figure its because I see both sides and have opinions for both. Oh well, I am happy with who I am and if someone has a problem with it, sc#% them.

*I am obsessive compulsive about a clean house. The worst thing my husband ever bought me was a vacuum with a light that goes from red to green when an area is "clean". It now takes me 90 minutes to vacuum the whole house.
*I will not eat lima beans
*There are online friends who I consider better friends than my 'real life' friends
*Most of the time, I like animals better than people
*Most of the time, I'd rather be alone
*I read like a fiend. I finished Stephen King's "IT" in 3 days. It is not unusual for me to go through 3 or 4 large books per week.
*I love to cook
*I prefer independent films to the big names
*I rarely drink alcohol, if I do, it's my new obsession with wine
*I am adopted, my birthmother is my adoptive aunt, making my adoptive mother my biological aunt. (You got that, right? )
*I haven't spoken to my brother, also adopted, for over 12 years. He lives on the streets somewhere in W. Virginia, last I heard.
*I have recently been diagnosed Bipolar II. I am still adjusting to the many medications that go along with this diagnosis
*I met my husband online 7 years ago. We have a four year old son. This is my second marriage, the first one lasted 11 years and gave me two beautiful boys, ages 14 and 11.
*Raised Roman Catholic, I feel more comfortable in my own spirituality through Wicca. This freaks my mother out beyond belief.
*I love muscle cars, especially mopars
*And to finish before I sound like a total nut, I've had chicken pox 3 times in my life. Once when I was two, again when I was 8, and terribly bad in 4th grade. I guess it took 3 times to get it right.

Oddly enough, it feels a little refreshing to me to tell my weird things. Does that in itself make me even weirder?!
