Steak in a red wine sauce with creamy mashed potatoes...yum.

Followed by syrup sponge pudding, haven't decided whether to do custard with that yet

I'm going to try egg-drop soup for the first time. I'm going to modify the recipe quite a bit with tofu, mushrooms, etc. And then serve it with garlic bread .

Mostly, making dinner is my therapy after the vagaries of the day, but occasionally, I.just.don't.wanna. That's tonight. But that's what Flying Wedge is for. In a few minutes I will phone for an awesome pizza, and when we've devoured it, Rob will say, "You cook good!" and I won't feel the least bit guilty about having done no cooking whatever.
