Was just home on lunch and Tara's dad pulls up to the house. She goes outside and a few minutes later comes walking in with this puppy in her arms. Apparently the dog was wandering around the park (I saw it walking around when I was pulling in) and didn't have a home. So of course Tara wants it. When I left she was giving him a bath. Kitties are already hiding.

I'm not sure what kind of dog it is, looks like a little all white sheep kind of. It was surprisingly good during the bath. He has some nasty brown crud around his eyes that have stained his fur and wouldn't even wash out and when you look into his eyes, it almost looks like he has cataracs (sp?)

I'm debating on whether we should keep it or not. *sigh*

Uh-Oh!
Congrats on the new dog!

I would at least try looking for its owner first. I think you have 30 days until its legally yours in Michigan. Put posters up around town, throw in a classified or on Craigslist. Talk with the local shelters incase someone is looking for him.

The brown stuff is natural. I think its usually from if he had a partner at home. It may be a Samoyad or American Eskimo from the way you describe. American Eskimos usually have a hyper personality.

Oh no! Tara is probably already attached, she has a big heart doesn't she?

Good luck with this - do you have an outdoors area for a kennel or a caged in fence area that you could keep him?

If you can't keep him, I'm sure that you will be able to find a great home for him.

Oh yeah, don't forget to post pictures

Oh gosh!! he's so adorable, and him and Tyson are already playing. He has been following me around everywhere! Dad stopped back by and dropped off a leash and some food and he is calling the vet tomorrow and then we are going to set him an appt. up for the groomers. He went to the door so I hooked the leash on him and he went potty outside like a good puppy. I don't want to be attatched but I think I am.

I'm hoping he's somebody's dog and I can return him for a reward.

Just kidding, we'll have to see how it goes.

Awwww, were they nice people?

Now you have to tell Jason to take you to find a puppy of your own

You were so sweet to take him in and clean him up!

They were kind of dirty and rude! Come to find out the poor little puppy was blind and his wife let him go out side to potty and went back inside and the puppy just kind of lost his way.
poor little guy
