Honky Tonk Badonkadonk

What a weird song. Every time I flip around the station that is playing somewhere.

That song drives me nuts! The video is worse. Is 'badonkadonk' even a word?

I just heard the other day that they had to 'tame down' the video, that when they first submitted it - the execs said "you should paint some panties on some of those gals"

I hear it on the radio all the time! I used to think it was an okay song, but now I'm just sick of it! Too bad its overplayed like it is!

I still like it or I just like saying badonkadonk

I actually love the song!!! I also just like saying Badonkadonk!!

I have never seen the video.

I can't say I have heard the song - or if I have, apparently I have blocked it from my memory! I like the word - I will use it today at some point in a sentence and probably confuse someone (especially as I don't know if it has a meaning).

Ha, yes, thats the meaning - and its quite obvious thats what it means in the video!

And now i can use the word appropriately - thanks! I can actually now understand why they chose that word. Don't you mentally hear a sound like a Badonkadonk when someone who has a large rear end walks by? 1 step "Badonk", 2nd step "adonk". Since I waddle now - I hear that all the time when I walk (in my head of course).

I cant stand the song, but I asked my daughter, who is a big country fan, what that word means, and she said it is the booty

How I hate that annoying song, lol. 'Badonkadonk' is a hip-hop word, it should be illegal to put it in country songs. Haha!

I think it is a cute song. They are mostly poking fun at hip hop though. It is really overplayed!!
Has anyone heard of Cowboy Troy and "hick-hop"? He really needs to get a life.. he isn't that good at all IMO.

That's why they put the "honkey tonk" in front of "badonkadonk" to make it country.

I do like the song. Although i agree it is getting overplayed. But it's started something. I hear honkeytonk badonkadonk all over. Not just on the radio, but at bars, and people say it now. Because it's different than the hip/hop thing. Now country guys can say they like thier girls butt with that. I think it's cute. Plus, the song is catchy.

Isn't he part of the band Big and Rich? I have their CD. I don't like all their songs but I do love the song " I met a man last night"

ANY country song drives me NUTS!!!

I grew up listening to country music and now it just drives me absolutely mad!! My mom enjoys torturing me..

I think that song is hilarious! My mom listens to it all the time, too. Being old(lol), I cannot believe she would like it, but she laughs at it & even stole my CD with that song of it(I believe it is Trace Adkins that sings it?). I bought the CD & she stole it. She did pay me for it, though.

Just to clarify, Cowboy Troy got picked up by Big & Rich(they all originated in the same place-Musik Mafia-Gretchen Wilson came from there, too). He is in some of their songs. Last year he released his own album. I think they still tour together, though(not sure)?

I love that song,and any thing he sings give it time they will only play it every so often,just like any other sond.

I agree that it is *overplayed*! I like it every now and then, but not constantly. And I wonder to if Badonkadonk is a word??
