Actually last night around this time I was hungry for a big meal from Perkins!
I settled for a bowl of Frosted Mini Wheats instead

Oh my gosh, I know what you mean!! Usually hits me around midnight. I usually just have a bagel or some cereal, though.
Right now I just want a nice home-cooked meal.

I just had a slice of chocolate cake.

Dontcha just hate it when that happens?! Usually I sit there in self-pity for 15 minutes afterwards
I can't eat chocolate or sweets before bed or I'm up all night!
If I stay up past midnight or so I get hungry for something random and big.
So I just go to sleep before than (11:30pm or so) and wake up for breakfast in the am early.

I usually get cravings for savory stuff at night.
My savoury cravings tend not to get a chance to kick in late at night, because it's unusual for us to eat dinner before 8 pm -- 9 is more usual. But occasionally when we need to be out of an evening, and there isn't an opportunity to stick some nourishment in my face earlier, we'll get home 10- or 11- ish, and the first thing I do is hit the kitchen and put together a BLT -- maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan that's good late at night -- especially for a dinner-deprived body!
You all have me craving a BLT now! I usually want salty stuff. I guess I crave salty more than I do sweet stuff (other than chocolate) Is that normal? Man I could really go for some McDonalds fries now!!
Whoops!! I am sorry about the transfer craving.... maybe I am just having sympathy cravings for you and the other pregnant lady in my office. I am going to get a big bag of potato chips at lunch. McDonalds will be way to crowded!!
Funniest thing, I had to wake up at 4 am this morning to study, and I woke up with a huge craving for chicken fried steak and mashed potatoes. The kind they have at this fantastic little restaraunt here in town called The Farmhouse. Ugh, I'm drooling now. Who in the world wants chick fried steak in the morning, lol.
