I know there are plenty of you shopping fans here on TCS.

I need to find some Dr. Marten boots as soon as possible. With spring rolling around most stores are out and aren't getting any until fall. Does anybody have any suggestions on where I can maybe find some or even find some online, preferably on sale?

I finally found a pair for $110 at the mall, but I usually see them on sale for as low as $70 so I waited. Thanks for your help!!

Have you tried Famous Footwear, Trade Home (usually always spendy) or Journey's, or JC Penny's?

I can usually get Docs for myself at Journey's for just about 1/2 the price (even in winter) that they have them other places!

Where have you looked so far?

I would do a search for them online. you can find some really good deals. Some places don't even charge a shipping fee.

Keep an eye on www.zappos.com - they have some good sale prices - and they don't charge for shipping or returns!

No, yes and yes. The funny thing is that I guess men's and women's boots are pretty much the exact same. We got Tara a pair at some store at the mall on sale for $70. They only had small sizes left. We then we to Trade Home and found a pair in my size for $110 but I passed cuz I know I can find them cheaper. I'll have to look around at Famous Footwear.

Journey's didn't have anything either oddly enough.

Why am I not surprised that you were the first one to reply to this thread.

Check out that website - www.zappos.com though - they might have something for you there tho!
They're more expensive than Trade and Home for the boots I want.

Heck, try eBay! Or Overstocked.com, even docmartins.com. If I remember right they have a US online-store so the shipping won't be overseas.

I checked out their sale prices and they weren't bad. But I guess it depends on the style that you're looking for.
