The shelter I volunteer for puts on a photo contest every year and the winning photos are put into their calendar. I just got a call today that my baby girl's picture was picked!!
It's one I took of her as a kitten; she was about 3 1/2 months old:



Not only does she get to be in the calendar (my little Calendar Girl!
), but the winning pics are going to be in the paper at the end of the month. Plus she wins a gift basket of goodies from a local pet supply store! We're so excited!

And her eyes are just gorgeous.........and her fur...She's just perfect!!

Oh, I can see why it won! What a great pic of an adorable baby. I love when their eyes are changing colors!

Thanks so much everyone! We are quite proud of our little girl!
I can't wait to see what other pics they chose for the calendar! This year's one was great, I got a few to give as Christmas presents as the money they raise goes towards the shelter itself. I'll definitely be giving more out this Christmas!

I keep singing "I love, I love, I love my little calender girl" to her. Of course she looks at me like I'm totally off my rocker (which I am!
).

We don't know what month she'll be in yet, or who will be on the cover; they haven't worked that out yet. The woman I talked to last night said that since they had a dog on the cover the last couple of years, there's a good possibility that they'll pic a kitty this time. So who knows, she could be on the cover too!

COVER GIRL.
hehe lovely.

She has a very lovely feel of the warmth coming back into Febuary sort of time, as the picture has many blue deep tones, I think it would work well as January, Feb time.


But she deserves the cover, If I saw her little face on a calendar, that would be my calendar straight away.
