First off.. I am making a doctors appointment tomorrow.

My mother very worried about me and i think its time to realise my self that i am going a bit kaputt.. But before i really start to worry i am going to ask for some of your advice on what you think.

My face has been ghost white for the past two and a half weeks, at first i thought it was my monthly friend so i shrugged it off..
Every second day i have the runs to the toilet.
I keep on getting cramps in the upper part of my stomac..
Numerous headaches, and been sleeping a little too much.

My nails have started to smell burnt again, and i am getting persistent infections.
Also my body oil has been producing alot quicker which means my hair is already greasy the next day.

i know this sounds like a bug, but my mum thinks its something more serious.

any advice i would appreciate it and dont worry, i am going to the doctor tomorrow!

I am very sorry you are going through all this. I do tend to agree with your mother, sounds like something very serious. Do you currently take any medications at this time? I'm glad that you are going to the doctor...be very honest with everything thats been going on with you. PLease keep us posted

I'm so sorry you haven't been feeling well

I don't know much about what is going on, but it certainly sounds like it does warrant a trip to the doctor.

I hope everything is fine and it's something simple that can be taken care of easily.

Please keep us posted.

Oh hun!

You've been through a lot lately so your body's bound to be a bit run down.

You need a health spa or a good holiday!

Hope the doc can figure out how to get you feeling better quick! I'm sure the stress has something to do with it...I'll be watching for the results!

Poor Fwan. I hope that you find out what is troubling your body. I know it's easy to say don't worry, but really, I would put all worries out of your mind until you have seen the doctor. Stress can do strange things to the body and it may be nothing more than that.

You are doing the right thing going to the doctor, don't worry about it for now, deal with what comes when you know what's causing it for sure.

Sending loads of good vibes your way. I hope all you need is a little pick-me-up and special attention for a while to get yourself tip-top again.

I agree that stress probably has a part to play - maybeyour body's immune system is not working like it should. But you are doing hte right thing, so good luck.

I'm sorry you're feeling so poorly. I don't know of anything, except maybe an iron defficiency? Try taking some multivitamins, but see what your doctor says too. I hope you feel better soon!

Fran, make sure they check your thyroid function (been there, done that before). I have hypothyroid, and noticed that a lot of the people undergoing the same tests are foreigners who grew up in other countries, which the radiologists confirmed. Having lived in Australia and Italy, you probably got enough iodine, and after moving to Germany, your body went through severe withdrawal, even though bread is now fortified with iodine, thanks to reunification.

Fwan, I would be concerned...I don't like the idea that your nails smell burnt. That sounds a little bit more then a bug. I could be wrong though.

Good luck with the doctor though ! I really hope its nothing too seriuos.

Hope everything is ok... it could be stress but make sure they do a complete blood panel, and have them check your gallbladder. Gallstones can cause upper abdominal cramps and some of the symptoms you are having. The burnt nail smell is something I am not familiar with

I'm sorry you're not feeling well! I would not worry too much until you hear what the doc has to say. Like others have said, stress could definately play a part! I know when I am stressed, my stomach goes haywire and I will get headaches. I'll be thinking about you, hope to here that everything goes well!
