moody cat

this isn't a suprise but one of my cats, a beautiful boy named burlap, is constantly moody. one moment he is rubbing against you begging for attention and the next he is diging his claws into my hand. i have had him since he was a baby and he has been neutered and always been an indoor cat, but recently he, in one of his mood swings bolted out the front door and when i picked him up he clawed my hand. Does anyone have any suggestions on how i can try to help him stop being so moody?

I hear that using Feliway helps calm cats. It comes in spray and even a plug in. Try researching it, and you'll find it'll most likely calm your guy down.

Now, granted, I've never used it, but I've heard nothing but raves about it. Apparently it calms kitties down.
