My cat used to have poo stuck to her feet all the time when she was a baby. It meant lots of "baths" in the sink for her!

After a while, she just got the hang of it. I don't think there's anything you can do to teach a kitten to cover it up. It seems to be one of those things that comes with age. Kind of like little kids not picking up after themselves.

I agree. It is most definitely a kitten thing. Don't worry, they get much pickier when they get older.

I agree with what Malakaiii said about washing his feet. If you have trouble doing it, let us know.

My Bella is over 3 and it is a bit hit and miss whether she covers it up or not, sometimes she does, sometimes not so well.
She obviously knows the proper way, but is maybe a bit lazy sometimes.

As a kitten Sophie used to stand in hers as well, but over the months she managed perfectly to watch where her paws were going.

Sophies now the one who not only covers hers until she's made a little hill out of the litter, but also steps on and covers up Rosies little packages.

Don't be annoyed though because she's only a baby and she will get there eventually

Cinders used to cover her poo but over the past 6 weeks, I've noticed that she doesn't anymore. It's not from lack of trying though - she does her business, scoops a bit of litter and then tries to scoop litter from the floor outside of the litter tray and the tray edge where there is no litter
