What would be the perfect day for you. If you could choose to do anything (within reality) what would it be? You have to choose something that is within your realm of possibility (for example although I would love to get off to Vegas for the day, I can't realistically do that).

For me, I would like to sleep late (until at least 10 am). Get up have a nice breakfast of bacon and french toast with real maple syrup. Play with Kevin and the cats for a while. Get someone to watch Kevin for the majority of the day. Spend a nice day with the hubby doing things we haven't done for a while. Something like a nice day trip somewhere to find a nice hidden luncheon spot. See a movie. Spend some time reconnecting with the hubby. After a romantic dinner, then I would like to go down to the waterfront and watch the sun set. Go home and play with Kevin and the kitties again and go to sleep (uninterrupted)

What about you?

I couldn't fit everything in the perfect day.

Sleep in, eat breakfast, workout, take a walk on the beach, do some kind of play stuff (go-karts, etc.), go golfing, do some mma training along with some boxing, go out to dinner with friends, and spend time with Tara during it all too.

The perfect day for me would be, first: wake up without an alarm, go out to breakfast, Bob Evans is my fave-sausage gravy and biscuits
maybe do a little shopping (with someone else's money
) go to the park and walk the dog around the lake in the sunshine, then go out to dinner, probably Red Lobster, and then finish it off by going to a play or a ballet.

Get off work on a Friday during the summer, drive 2 hours to my family's campground - and spend the whole weekend with my family on the lake boating and around the campfire just enjoying eachothers company

Add in some corn on the cob (I can't wait for summer to get that!) and I'll be one happy girl!

LOL I would like an uninterrupted night of sleep....but that is unrealistic with a colicy baby

Ok now to realistic:

I would like to wake up after five hours of sleep (it has happened before lol), head off to breakfast at our fav little coffee shop, go home for a quick two hour nap (can you tell sleep is uppermost in my mind atm?) then hand the little guy over to his aunt for the afternoon and evening. Hubby and I off to dinner and movies and then home for a little bit of quiet time with Kenneth and then to bed for a few more blissful hours of sleep....

Sounds like you miss sleep as much as I do! How old is your little boy?

Sleep in, just till 9 or so, have breakfast and coffee outside (during a warm day!) while watching the birds, do some gardening, lounge around reading, play with redecorating my kitchen, maybe go for a drive in the country. All very relaxing to me! That being my realistic version, otherwise I would go rent a cabin on a lake somewhere, take my breakfast and coffee earlier out on the pier watching the sunrise, and go fishing, watch wildlife and read in the boat all day long! Then come in to a nice cozy fireplace.

I would sleep in..and wake up whenever I wake up.

Go out for breakfast with all of my friends..have some eggs with bacon, maybe some french toast.

Then go out on a date with Jeff, do some canoeing all day and then maybe catch a movie.

I would leave! Actually get to go somewhere exciting. I'd like to rent a wee cottage up north for a weekend and just hang out and relax. Maybe I can crash at your cabin, Shannon?

Adrienne my little guy is just over three months old now
I love him to bits but for both our sakes I wish he could sleep a bit more at a time but that will come eventually - I hope lol.

I love sleep....I have learnt to appreciate it a lot more now

I would love to..

Get up nice and early, go to breakfast at a diner, hit the beach.. where I'd read and take a nap while I get a much needed tan! Get boardwalk pizza for lunch. Then go to a spa and get a facial/massage, do some shopping and end the night with a good movie and dinner at a nice restaurant.

For me it would be to wake up next to Jerry on a warm, (but not hot) sunny day, get in the car, and drive somewhere we haven't been. Explore the area, have a nice lunch, perhaps some shopping, drive further, more shopping, have a nice dinner on the way home. We'd stop at a gas station to refuel and I'd but a lottery ticket. We'd get home, they'd draw the numbers, I'd see that we hit the jackpot, and call my boss and say, ADIOS AMIGO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NOW, that would be the perfect day...........
