Cat=Present, Dog=Near Future

Just looking for some advice..........Me and my wife currently live with a Siamese Cat that will be 9 months old in July when me and my wife move into a house in which we will be getting a dog (most likely, 99%) which will be a boxer..................any advice that will help us co-exist...........beggining (starting off w/ a semi-kitten and a puppy) and beyond................
