I will have to fly back with you, Toronto to Frankfurt, Germany

Canadian $973.52 direct (I hate stops)
US $840.46
Euros 690.53

Mine is way cheaper! I can go executive class for 3,250 Euros if I don't mind a stop over and 3,700 if I do

I just did the same for mine to Frankfurt and it was a lot cheaper on expedia than Air Canada even though I was flying Air Canada

I can get a direct flight from Chicago to Toronto, and be there in an hour and a half, for US$345 (CAN$399.13).

One of the reasons its more expensive to fly is the distances between cities.
For example to drive between paris and brussels I thought was only like 4 hours.
If I want to drive to Minneapolis from Green Bay it would take me 5-6 hours. To drive to Chicago is about 4 hours. When I drive to VA to visit my sis it will take about 17 hours.

Of course. I can stuff purchases in my car than carry on the plane!!! My sis usually drives here every yr too. Plus there are lots and lots of people from Wisconsin who spend the winter months in Florida (they are called snow bunnies!!) It takes about 24 hours to drive into Florida. I have friends there now who will be leaving to come back to Wisconsin in the 1st part of April or early May. The highway/interstate system is pretty good. I just hate driving through Chicago traffic though!!

This cracks me up. The closest airport to me is bradley, out of hartford, CT about 1/2 hour to me. I would have to spend 211 dollars, fly to philly and then go to providence. It would take about 4 hours to do so, and I have to fly on Monday. I guess it would be cheaper to get in the car and drive the 2-3 hours at the most you probably live from me!!

The cost is for a one way flight.

BTW the providence airport is less than hour away too!!!

Chicago to Hartford is $212 US, non-stop 2 hour flight. The weirdest part is that for three times the money, I can get a flight with two layovers that will take me over 11 hours!
