Another post about food, sorry guys.

I'm getting stressed about wet food.

Since I had Missy shes always been fussy, with wet and dry, i never got her to eat dry, and she'd be fussy with her wet, a week she would eat a certain brand different flavours, and then she would just stop, and act like she hated it, as much as I put it down, she started to lose weight, The vet checked her and shes sound health, this was awhile back....

Since then with the new additions Simba and Star, i've tried many a brand wet and dry, you name it if I can get hold of it in the UK i've TRIED IT.

the only dry, she eats, and the kittens eat is Science plan, natures best. which is 50% meat first ingrediant over here.
and there lap it up,

With wet, i'm still finding it hard, I can't believe they wereall fussy on both wet and dry. but the dry is now sorted it's just the wet!!!!

Brands of kitten wet i've tried are, all you can name off the zooplus.co.uk, nutro etc, then Whiskas felix etc....

same for missy i've tried and she sticks her nose up.

I bought some hilife today, there was no kitten in pets at home so i bought the adult pate cans, the kittens lapped it up i was happy.
Missy looked at it, and walked off, I put some of her dry on and she just ate the dry off the top.

I really can't get the kittens to eat any kitten wet.... whiskas gravy theydid abit for a day and wouldn't eat it now,

i've left it down and given it to them for a week, they ate a few bites and leave it and wait for the dry later....

The only wet food I can remember Missy eating well.... was Sheba. Now I know this is just dearer for the same stuff as whiskas, Should I buy it, because wets important? and try.
and keep the kittens an Hilife adult, unless I can find the kitten.
I feel bad giving them adult, when there only 6 months, but I really wanted them to get some wet food.

any suggestions?

one of them had protein at 12% which is about 40-48% which I would find aduquate for a internally developed six month old..

too ease your concerns I would read the kitten and adult tins and see what the differences are

That's a good idea.

i'm in half a mind to just get her some Sheba foil trays, I know there not that great with content, but I really don't know what other wet to try.
i'm wasting lots of money on things she wont eat, thats the problem no thewebsites, you have to order bulk packs, of like £7 so if she doesn't like it you've got lots of tins.

Sheba I can gather from my local supermakret, I just don't know what to do.

there dry is good.

the kittens drink more than she does, thats why I really want her on some wet.

on the zooplus site I noticed they have an offer on the Shinycat for all flavours, I want to try this first I think, before I have to resort to the sheba.

the protein is also quite high for the kittens as well.

One thing you can do is mix a bit of tuna water in with the wet food. Then slowly eliminate this until they're just eating the food.

I tried this before, but this may sound odd, but Missy doesn't like real chicken, tuna, salmon, anything, she wont eat it, I think shes a vegitarian.

Maybe thats why she doesn't like the high quality products as they smell more like real meat?

I'm not sure, she did eat nutro, but only the chicken flavour the others she would not touch, but she wouldn't only eat one flavour forever, she gets bored.
