Hi All,

I am in the market for a cat tree for Stewie and some cat toys. I have been to local pet stores and the selections of the toys are not great. I am wondering if you all know any online stores where I can get some good toys. Also, what kind of toys would you suggest? Pictures will be helpful. Thank you.

Cat trees. Where do you get yours from? I have been on eBay and couple of online stores but don't know what to look for. If you have any inputs regarding the brands, prices, and what to look out for, please let me know. Thank you for your help. (pictures will be nice).

I get most of our cat trees and cat toys on Ebay. There is a Ebay store for cat trees that are very easy to put together, are very sturdy, and will hold large boned cats. We haven't had any trouble with them at all. We have a few of them.
Here is the link http://stores.ebay.com/Armarkat-Cat-Furniture-Store
They have several different sizes, and the prices are always low.
I know your kitties will thank you!!

My cat tree has been with me almost 2 years and it's from wal-mart, it cost about 30 bucks. The cats have shredded one level pretty good! I think I may replace it in about another 6 months or so. My toys pretty much come from either ocean state job lot, (discount store), grocery store, walmart, or petstore. When buying toys look for something that seems sturdy and that the kitty won't choke on or easily rip to shreds. I avoid anything with rubber strings and feathers stuck to it.

I purchased my cat tree from the Armarkat a few weeks ago. It's great! The girls adore it. Others here have given them good reviews too!

I just HAD to post that link, didn't I.
THEN, I had to go check everything out for myself. I just bid and won an 80 inch cat tree for under $10!!
It had under a minute to go. It has many levels, stairs, and a little home as well. Our other cat tree from them, was 75 inches and it has the hammock and swing, the kittens love it, but the adults don't care for it much. Our raggies are going to be so happy!!

LuvMySphynx, you have some beautiful furless babies in your signature!!!

I also got my 2 cat trees from the same seller everyone has listed. I got 2 cat trees for $100 and that includes the shipping. I have a larger one and a smaller one. My 2 kitties love them and all the scratching post that are on them

I would try either the websites that people have suggested, or pet stores - like Petco, PetSmart, or locally owned pet specialty stores. I would not, however, try Walmart. I got one there a few weeks ago and had to return it the next day. It was the just a stratching post with a base and a perch on top that had to be assembled. Not only was it completely unsturdy/wobbly, but when I attached the perch, the screw from the post was too long and it caused the fabric on the perch to tent up. It wouldn't take much wear on it before it probably would have poked right thru the fabic and inflicted serious injury.

i love plain brown tabby's toys & things. i got my biggest cat tree on ebay from petisfun, & it's an Armarkat brand tree. i think i'm going to reinforce one shelf, but the rest seem pretty strong, especially after i attached it to the wall. cost me $71, including shipping. you can see it here.

I just bought a 62" tree from the aforementioned Ebay store, the 80" one I lost the bid on wouldn't have fit where I wanted it to anyway
I paid about $15 more than I wanted but it is still well over $50 cheaper after shipping than I would have spent directly from the manufacturer. My only complaint with the Wal-Mart cat tree is that it is wrapped only in carpet and no sisal rope, I don't want anyone thinking that it is okay to tear up any sort of carpet with the claws. I would definately recommend Ebay as the place to look to get a killer tree for the least cash.
