I have an orange tabby, Rainy and two ferrets who are new to the family. The ferrets have been around for about 2 months now and Rainy has been with us for 1 1/2 years. Rainy seems to enjoy the ferrets. She just got to the point where she can run and play with them while they are out. She even attempts to bathe them (but they move around too much).
Lately Rainy has been grabbing their sheet from outside the cage and pulling on it. She will actually drag their cage about a foot. She doesn't do it in front of us. Usually it is a night or while we are not home. She won't drag it too far, I am sure it's pretty heavy for her. But this morning I woke up and she drug the cage almost 2 feet, like she was heading the the back of the couch. The ferrets don't seem to mind at all, they are just along for the ride, if they even wake up during the move.
It's not really a problem I guess, well for us anyway. But I am just curious to know if she is trying to hide them maybe cause she might be jealous. Or is she just bored and trying to play with her new friends.
Let me know what you think
