Our office is freezing. It's so cold in here right now, we all have our coats on. It usually only gets this cold when they crank up the AC during the summer months. I'm getting ready to go outside to get warmed up. Or I might do this

Does anyone else work in a place where they can't seem to get the temperature right?

YES!! ME ME ME!! HERE HERE HERE!! THe government regulates our temperature here. If its really cold outside the big furnace comes on and blasts serious heat so bad we are all sweating. Then ater about 10 am it doesnt come on again so we freeze to death. In the summer we only have 3 window air conditioners and they don't work so well so its HOT. Fans only move around the hot air!! Ugh!!

The temp seems to vary in our office. One side is freezing (people sitting at their desks with blankets) and the other side roasting! No happy medium here!

Yikes! Poor you! At work, we have big machines running that process the mail and they get so hot so that in the summertime, we all overheat and sometimes we have to do the running and thats worse - having to walk around the machines collecting the fastpost that was accidently put in with the standard and that gets you heated up pretty fast.

I have yet to work at the post office during the wintertime but it wont be long before I find out if it is warm or cold - but its an open plan so we will see if the heat is contained there or not!

Our office is always boiling hot in the winter (unadjustable boiler!) - I'm first in the office every morning and I always turn on the A/C as soon as I get in because it is stiffling. It's just fine in the summer though

Ok, first let me start out by saying that anything below 75 degrees is generally cold to me!
But in our office we have the same problem with one side being one tempurature and the other being something different.
And lucky me I'm on the side with the folks with hot flashes so they keep the air on 60 all year :censor::censor::censor::censor::censor::censor::censor: long!!!

I guess you wouldn't be happy in my house where the temp is about 65(In WI).
When I worked in an office I was the always hot person. The person who sat next to me was always cold (dress appropriately for crying out loud!!!). She would run a space heater practically year round. My new work environment is outdoors now and I don't have control over that!!

The cats house, we just pay the mortgage..
Oh my word, I thought it was just our office?! In the morning it is ffffreezing. I don't take my coat or scarf off until about midday and then it just goes so hot! Just now our thermometer cards are showing 80 degrees but it doesn't go any higher so it's probably warmer than that.
Our air con is soooo messed up.

I work in a nursing home so of course, the temperature has to be set to keep our residents warm and happy.

That means it's 80 degrees inside during the winter which is a little too warm for the staff, and it's STILL a little too cool for some of the residents.

What's weird is our heat at home geranlly stays between 60-65!!! We may bump it up to 70 if we are really really cold!!
And dress appropriately, but having to wear a sweater when it's 80 degrees outside is just ridiculous. I can't function when I'm cold... I am sooooo thankful our winter here was really mild as well... My poor body can't take them horrible low temps!!

It's always either too warm or too cool in here. Right now it's so cold my fingernails are blue. Some days, though, it's way too warm. I'd dress appropriately, but we can never predict it. I've just started dressing in layers.

Its usually cold in the office here - my desk is by the front door, so in the winter when people come in and out, I get a good draft!

I have to definately dress to keep warm all the time - although my little space heater works wonders
