HELP! I can't turn it off. I went into options and found this:

Default Thread Subscription ModeWhen you post a new thread, or reply to a topic, you can choose to automatically add that thread to your list of subscribed threads, with the option to receive email notification of new replies to that thread.
Do not subscribe No email notification Instant email notification Daily email notification Weekly email notification Default Thread Subscription Mode:

I choose from the options no email notification, but I am still receiving it. I did remember to click on save changes at the bottom too.

I still want to go to user CP for my suscribed threads. I just don't want email notification.

Thanks!

I suspect if you look at what notifications you are getting, you'll find they are for threads you had subscribed to before you made the change, and the ones you subscribed to after the change are not generating email. Changing the default only changes what happens after, so you'll need to manually change each of the earlier posts to have the email cease on them. A bit of a pain (been there, done that) but it's a one-time thing.

That must be it because I didn't get notification about this one.
THANKS!

That is exactly it. You have to unsubscribe from each thread in your User CP, or you will continue to get emails when there are posts in these older threads.
