Just wondering, how much sleep do you all usually get (excluding weekends/days off) & is it enough?

I usually get around 5 hours. I've actually adapted to it, so yeah I can function on 4 or 5 hrs of sleep..
I can never get to sleep any time before midnight no matter how tired I am.

(POLL coming up soon! It's set so that you can check more than one, but just vote once in each section)

I tend to get 5-6hrs of sleep but I am such a night person that with 8 hours of sleep I don't function well durring the day. Wonderful for a 8-4:30 job huh? Back in HS I usually got about 4 hours of sleep and did fine. And I got up earlier! Odd, but I blame it on stress!

I usually try to go to bed early enough that I get 7-8 hours worth of sleep everynight.

I HAVE to get at least 8 hours a night, if I don't get enough sleep, I end up getting sick

I had Mono about 2 years ago and ever since then, if I don't get constant hours of sleep all the time, I end up getting sick -flu like symptoms.

My immune system is quite low after mono, thats for sure.

In high school I used to go to bed at 2 or 3 and get up at 6 every day. Now I usually go to bed around 2 or 3 still but I get to sleep until about 11

I had to be difficult and choose two options for the number of hours...I get 6-7, depending on how fast I can fall asleep and how much hubby thinks he has to talk to me in bed after we've been sitting right next to each other for hours on the computer...

I used to not be able to function on less than 8, but 6-7 is working for me now.

I normally get between 6 or 7, but more like 6 so I vote 5 or 6. I could sleep for forever with my kittie. I love sleep so its never enough!

I usually get about 6 or 7(lately even less). I work long days (usually 10 - 11 hours) and when I get home I'm exhausted but I hate sleeping during the little time I have to myself. If I could, I would love to sleep 9 - 10 hours a night -- what I really need! lol

I do sleep in as late as I possibly can though. lol I wake up usually around 7:45 and I have to be *at* work at 8.
I am worthless
until I get atleast a few cups of coffee in me.

I had mono about 10 years ago...i hated it, they didn't know what it was at first and i had all sorts of blood samples done...

I get 8-9hrs of sleep but if my fiance let me, i could sleep almost a full 24hrs...doc says its one of the sideffects of depression...

I have always slept alot! I had mono when I was 16 but that was many many years ago. When I was 28 they found that I had a hypothyriod. I take meds for it, but I have always been the type that can sleep days away......

Loving my beautiful baby girl
I have the absolute most messed up circadian rhythms of all time! I voted 3-4 hours on work nights, and no, it's not enough. It's ok for a couple of days, but when extended can really wear me down and I start getting kind of loopy!
When I finally crash, though, I could just sleep and sleep! In fact, that's sounding pretty good right about now!
