well, since I was a little kid in the 80's I'll go with Dark Crystal and Neverending Story
Even though I was still in grade school, LATER in life my fav 80s flicks were Breakfast Club and Sixteen Candles. I think I saw Animal House, but can't remember.

Totally! I tried to get into the Muppets Tonight when aired, but it didn't have the same flavor. They were all too "nice" too each other.
