Tennis Shoes. I think it all depends on where you are from. In the South(U.S) A soft drink is a coke or a soda no matter what it is. In the north(u.s) they call it pop.

It depends where in the north, I'm from NY and we say Soda, but my cousins from western NY say pop. Makes no sense to me!

I voted for tennis shoes, but really, I don't say it that way. It comes out as "tenna-shoes." I think I was about 12 when I realized they were "tennis shoes" because I can't remember hearing many people actually pronounce it that way. I hate tennis! LOL! Sometimes I call them tennies.

I believe I call them both tennis shoes and sneakers... not at the same time of course

Actually though, I think I just end up calling them by the name of the brand. If I ask my fiance to grab them out of the closet I say "Bring me my Adidas NOW"

Just kidding, I ask nicely!
