If your cat is happy? Even while playing with mine it just sits there with no real look of excitement or even enjoyment

yeah but not while playing, at least not that I can hear.. She does while being petted but not while being played with

Maybe she needs a new kind of toy. If you've been using feather wands, for example, try some little mice with rattles in them, or a laser toy, etc.

If you've already tried that, I wouldn't be worried about it if she otherwise seems content. The only thing to be concerned about is her getting enough exercise, and short of putting her on a treadmill, I wouldn't know what to suggest!

Mmmm I dunno that I would say that, she has the energy to play (When she's in the mood) But she just doesn't appear to be having a great time if you see the difference...
