During that "party party" thread, it was quite funny to see members ogling over imaginary men and the assortment of buffed model pics. That's not a side of women us men get to see often.
It left me wondering how far your attraction range is. In the poll I'm adding, you can pick more than one type.

For me it would be slim but toned. I'm not worried about a few extra pounds, but would be too worried for the health of my partner if he was really heavy.

To be honest, I'm more concerned about what goes on inside his head than whether he spends hours in the gym. Able to hold down a decent conversation, good sense of humour and good company for a night in the restaurant, drink in the bar or walk in the country is my kind of thing.

I forgot to make the poll multiple choice, so I deleted it and did it again.

At my age, the most important thing about a man is that he is breathing.

Despite some of my posts in the "Party Party" thread
I have to agree with Beth on this one.

I used be into the slim, okay maybe on the verge of too slim, guys with muscles, I called it kinda like a whipcord. Now I like guys a little thicker with about your average amount of muscle, but honestly I suppose I have really no written in stone preference- a guy can be hot as hayell physically and become totally unattractive to me as soon as he opens his mouth, so a guy who didn't do it for me at first in the physical arena can quickly become irresistable if his personality is great. My ex was a real cutie and look how THAT turned out! No more prettier than me guys LOL

My type? LOL Well, I've been in love (lust) with Tommy Lee since about 1985. My other guy is Trent Reznor from 1991-1998, before he got all buff. I developed a thing for Joaquin Phoenix in 8MM - yeah, even with the blue hair. And I always loved the pretty goth boys like John Koviak (Bonus to you if you have any clue who he is), Rozz Williams, Paris (he worked with Rozz in many bands, and was another poster boy in the goth rag Propoganda, like John Koviak), and Porl King.

I like the tall, skinny guys. Not even necessarily toned, and only buff if they don't get bulked up.

For me, it's some muscle, but toned, and it's also important that he have very dark hair, and dark eyes.

Oh I definitely agree that it's more than just looks when it comes to attraction. For this poll I'm just narrowing it down to one aspect to make it easier.

Let's see, my height or a little taller (5' 6") average to a little muscular, a few extra pounds is OK. I like muscular arms, though-nothing sexier than a man in a button-down shirt with the sleeves rolled up.

Slim but toned - taller than me too!

John is skinny, but very strong and toned

Not that it matters to me much at all, although attraction is important -looks aren't everything.

I'm attracted to a man that can make me laugh, smile, has a good sense of humor, likes children, family man and likes the outdoors

For the sake of voting, I'd have to say some muscle and toned would be my ideal. What's truly most important, though, is who a guy really is on the inside and that we feel a connection/chemistry with each other.

But I'm not going to vote until George Clooney and Sam Elliott make the list.

I kinda started something in the Party,Party thread, huh? I gotta have my fantasies, ya know.

Sigh, at my age I really can't be picky.

I stopped caring about the outside years ago.
I used to date 'pretty' boys, unfortunately, a lot of them are not nice people (harsher words are in order, but I'll refrain).

I honestly have no preference.

I love Jake the way he is. He is tall with some muscle but also some soft bits which I love - I want to be able to cuddle him and really feel it - I don't know if you can really do that with rippled muscles. Sure enough, rippled muscles are nice to look at, but they don't do it for me.

Tall and slim for me! DH is 6'2" and a runner, so he fits my bill all right!
I'm not into lumpy or squishy, but if someday he should get that way, it won't matter. He loves me inspite of any squishyness, so I just feel blessed for that!

You've got good taste in men. George and Sam would be my picks.
They are mature, handsome, smart, handsome, funny, handsome and did I say ... handsome?
