Morning everybody. Little bit different weather out today. It was 66 and sunny yesterday, right now it's 28 and there is snow blowing around. Starting to feel like I'm getting sick as well, so it's going to be a lazy day and heading to bed early tonight.

How's everybody doing??

Good morning!
What a drastic change in weather you've had in just a day's time! So sorry you feel that you're getting sick, a lazy day sounds like the perfect idea. Our weather has remained warm and sunny, yay!

Have a wonderful day, everyone!

Funny, unpredicatable weather!
I was sick late last night but I came to work as I felt OK this morning. I just catch everything going at work I hate it.
Today is kind of a nothing day...nothing is happening! I want to go home and see the cats

Are you off work today Jason?

It has been an interesting morning!! As I was leaving our road today there was a TREE in the road that the storm had knocked down. So I had to move it out of the way before I could get on the highway. I am getting on the 2 lane about to pass some slow cars and had to slam on brakes because there is a COP blocking both lanes redirecting traffic down a back road that I never use. So I had to call Lee and wake him up so I could let him tell me where to go!! I get into the office and look at my khaki pants and there is MUD and TREE BARk on them from moving that stupid tree!

Other than that, its going to be a good day!!

Buffguy:I am sorry you aren't feeling to well. I hope you feel better quick fast and in a hurry!

Nope, just got to work. And to top things off, our hot water heater went out last night so I had to take a warm shower. Better than cold I guess.

Luckily the pilot just needs to be re-lit, wind must have blown it out.

Oooh I have to have my showers boiling hot. If anyone flushes the toilet or uses a tap while I'm in the shower they regret it after me screaming about how freezing the water has gone

Gah!

As the weather isn't actually lashing down snow/hail/rain I decided that I would do some work outdoors (even though I knew I would freeze!)

So I put the cats in their room, suited and booted myself ready to drive to the DIY shop to buy supplies. Erm....no....that's not happening!! Some idiot has parked half in front of my drive!! So I can't get out

So once I've finished my cup of tea (and calmed down) I'm going to go into the garden and hack up the old sofa (of which I couldn't get a charity or the Council to take for me!)

It's just not my day
Hope everyone else's is going much better!

Mee too!! I have to force our handle to turn on the water to go a little past what it is supposed to for the water to be hot enough... I wonder if that is why I have such dry skin....

One day I did this, when I was young and foolish and had not long passed my test and I went back to find my car was not there and was now 50 miles away in the compound. I had to pay £105 on the spot to get it back. I realise now how ignorant it was so I deserved it. You should call your local police station because that is just rude

I'm glad you don't think I'm overacting!

It's seriously annoying!! The last person that did it to me, I made ring the door bell to let me know he was leaving!! Then he said that he hadn't realised that he was in front of my drive!! What? How?!!

Is it the Police that I contact about this? I wasn't sure if it was them, the Council (who won't answer their phones anyway) or the Traffic people?!!

I think I will slam them with a big fine - I can't even get out anywhere without my car!!!

Yup that's Michigan though. It can be sunny and warm early in the week and snowing by the end of the week.

Three more days until St Patricks Day!!! Anyone taking the day off?

They really need to move. What if you had an emergency and had to leave like now!! How would you get out?

ENGLAND... LAND OF HOPE AND GLORY!
If people block our roller shutters at work i ring the councils traffic wardens, so keep it ringing then sit back with your cup of tea and watch the ticket get slapped on their windscreen!

I was thinking that!

I'm just pretty wary of getting the Police and such involved as there can be backlash from some people!

That's a point, Traffic wardens can sort something! I'll give it a go, as they'll make a raise and I'll not be in the firing line!

The woman phoned the police on me, they came out, had a look and thought yes this person has parked where they shouldn't and they then called the traffic people.
They shouldn't be fobbing you off like that, this has totally made you have to change your plans for the day. What if you had to drive to work! Or you had to rush a cat to the vet? They need to get off their bums and move the car.
