Heya guys.

I am getting kind of nervous, I have a date tomorrow evening with a guy I barely know! I have dated a little since the break up, and it's been fine, because I've atleast somewhat known the guys, all in all I've had good experiences, but, I've only met this guy briefly and dont know much about him at all. I do know that he is hansome and successful. BUT, he is a bit older than me, though anyone I've dated has been older. I'm not even sure what we're doing, and now I'm nervous about how to act. I hear his previous dates have been the beauiful exuberant type...and I'm the political argumentative liberal nerd cat-lady type, lol. What to do, what to do. What should I wear? Ugh, I feel like a lunatic!

I agree with the others. Wear whatever YOU like best, be yourself and if he doesn't like it, well too bad for him!

Don't be afraid of letting him know how you really are. No need to be perfect or to change the way you act to fit what you think he would like. It's the best way of finding out if he's really the one for you.

And just have fun.

Be yourself. If he doesn'y like you, he's not for you! If you don't know where you're going, black pants and a turtleneck sweater or cute shirt (not too low cut, we don't want to give the wrong impression!
) would be fine in any situation. If you want to impress him a little, use your best attributes. If you have nice eyes, look into his a lot. If you have a nice smile, smile a lot. Look who's giving you advice here, Miss Single USA...
Just do whatever fits.

My answer is no different from most. Just be yourself. Dress the way you like and talk the way you like to.

Good luck! Just be yourself - you're a wonderful lady! Besides, he may be REAL tired of dating the "beauiful exuberant type" where the only thing they can talk about is their beautiful exuberant selves.
He may be looking for a woman who can actually hold an intelligent conversation.

Good luck! Just be yourself, if he doesn't like you for you, then he's NOT worth it!

Isn't there a reason he isn't still dating all those "beautiful exuberant" types?

Maybe he saw the light!!!

Oh the excitement of a date! It's so much fun isn't it? I kind of miss it sometimes....

Have lots of fun! And I agree with everyone else... just be you and if he doesn't like it, it's his loss.... and I shall impart on you some wise words one of my friends once said to me:

"Remember, it's all about the 1 to 4 ratio. For every one guy that isn't interested in you, there are four more who are. Ditch the one and go have a party with the four"
Keeping that in mind always relaxed me before a date. Hope it helps you too

Don't forget to tell us how it went

Good luck - I always dated older men except for once. Just be yourself and don't worry about the cat fur sticking to you. If he doesn't like cats he isn't the right guy for you.

I'm going to parrot what everyone else said. BE YOURSELF. WE like you the way you are. If he doesn't its HIS loss!
