I suppose it depends on what you call a date really.... I had my first date when I was about 14 - my boyfriend at the time decided he wanted to cook - and so he did. Just for me! Sometimes I wonder why I ever let that one go.....

First date I was 19. First boyfriend...I guess I still was 19 and we are about to get married in June (I'm now 23). I know you aren't supposed to marry your first boyfriend but I don't care
, we're perfect together.

In HS I got asked out but I didn't like any of the guys in that way!! Even going to college...there was still a lack of maturity.

First "real" bf I was 14-17.. but I wouldn't say I ever went on an actual date until I was in my 20s. I mean I would hang out w/my bfs and go to the movies or to concerts or whatever, but a real actual first date didn't happen until I was older. Usually I met guys in school so by the time we got to go out we were already dating, and I consider a date something where you don't really know each other well. When I got out of school I actually "dated", which was crazy, and would go out to dinner and whatever with a different guy every weekend until I found on suitable for me

SolarityBengals.. i know several people who married their first loves and are now happily married for 25-40 yrs, so don't listen to people..

Hehe I'm glad to hear it. Most of my friends say the heck with the rule...but my mom and some others think otherwise. Heh my mom should talk! She's divorced and her brother dated a girl since the 5th grade and they are still married. I don't think there is a rule...its just depends on who you found and how long it took to find them.

Pretty similar to us. We went on a date once before but nothing serious came of it. So our relationship was technically the first one for us both.

Chris was cute about it too. We were kind of uncomfortable with that *first kiss* so he said that if it was ok with me he would just give me a kiss on the cheek. It wasn't until later that we kissed the first time.

Yeah, didn't you always wonder what to do with your gum? But you HAD to chew it so you had good breath? Oh, the things we worry about, I tell ya!
