Sometimes I wonder....

....what you all sound like. When I am reading a post I imagine the person saying it and often wonder if I have the right accent, tone etc.
I wish there was a way we could pick a phrase, like a well known one or something simple and all record it and listen to how everyone sounds. I think that would be cool.

I've wondered that too!

I've only heard Big Cat Fan's voice, and Susan's, on the video clips they share!

Umm, I don't know about the Skype deal. On my Yahoo messenger there is an option to "call" other people on your list and hold either one on one or conference conversations.
Edit: Just quickly looked over Skype... looks like the same basic concept.

There's also a way to record messages and post them up on here but that's just a pain so I would go with Cougar's advice.

It's real fun I've had many voice conversations with people!

Yup, just make sure you have a semi-good quality mic. Mines makes me sound like a drivethru.

Haha thats funny. Thats what I'm like on voicemail. Maybe for those without a mic it would be cool to record a video and put on on a putfile, like people do with the cats in fur pics.

I agree i think being able to hear everybody's voices would be neat!!
Also, Yahoo has a "voice chat" feature that allows you to talk back and forth without using the "call" feature.

I sound like a man! You have no idea how many times I have been mistaken for my dad on the phone. They even took me off the answering machine & put my sister on it! If you want to talk to me, drive over here! Then you can here me, not my man-ish voice.

Same here! I sound like a boy on recordings!! When I do my voicemail messages I try to talk a little higher pitched LOL

I think I always sound like my nose is stuffed up!! Plus I sound like my sister (I'm a twin after all!!) I'm from Wi-SCON sin after all!!! People think I'm from Minesota (oops!!)

well, i'm an Aussie and i sound most like Rebecca Cartwright from home and away and a tiny bit like Nicole Kidman but she doesn't have a very strong Aussie accent anymore which is a shame...

i can't imagine what any of you would sound like unless your from Boston or the South because i know those accents.

eek, i have that problem on the phone...iv'e had a few people say 'are your parents home?'

I sound like a kid also on voice recordings, so I'm sure over the computer would be the same, lol.
