It's very moving to read what you all have to say about your cats (and dog too).

I thought I would come here and read what people have to say because one of my cats has cancer. I am waiting for the results of further tests and trying to come to grips with the idea that he will probably not be around that much longer. My cat is 12 years old and had it not been for cancer you could have said his health was exceptional.

When I was little I had a great big tom cat with long fur that would bite my ankles and scratch my legs, I cried for days when he had to go. Now I've had this other cat for 12 years and he has been the model of what you'd want your cat to be. It's going to be a lot harder when this cat goes.

I'm so sorry to hear about your kitty. Hopefully the cancer is treatable. They are such a part of our lives that losing one is like ripping a piece of our heart out.

No matter what happens with your kitty, there will always be someone here to share your sorrow and the joy of wonderful times together. You and your baby are in all of our thoughts and prayers.
