Hey Guys!

Newbie here! I have a feral colony that I have been managing for the past 7 months or so... I have tamed two of them, but the other three are still wild. I am looking to relocate the colony to a farm or home in the country of So. California. Anybody here know of any resources or avenues I could take to find a home for these lovely barn cats?

Any input is appreciated.

Thanks!

burtongal..is there a reason you are looking to relocate these cats?? Are they in danger where they currently are?? The reason I ask is that it is often not advisable to move a feral cat colony. You also will need to plan on at least a 2 week "transition" period. I would highly suggest reading the articles in the link below before attempting to relocate these cats.

Hi Katie!

Yes, I live in a neighborhood with roaming, aggressive dogs. They have given the cats a scare several times - I've already done alot of research, and it seems that moving them together to a rural environment would be safer for them. Do you know ofwhere I might start looking?

Thanks!

I would start by contacting TNR groups in your state:

They would be best familiar with where to start looking.
