All 3 of the Lion King movies were watched so many times, I think I can quote the movie as it goes along....LOL
My favorite is The Aristocats, I can watch that one over and over!!
Beautiful pictures and thank you for sharing them!!
Thanks! ..it was so fun having a house full of kittens for 3 months. They were totally out of control! It made keeping the remaining 4 seem like an almost empty house, LOL

LOL, I forgot to mention Figaro's name was from Pinocchio. I also love Aristocats...now I am going to have that song stuck in my head "Everybody, Everybody wants to be a cat...."

This one is right after the kittens were born, you can see how scraggly her tail is and it's hard to see it in the picture, but she was very thin. I have no idea how long she was outside on her own, but she was definitely underfed, especially for carrying 8 kittens:

This is now, she has gained about 1 pound since then, it made a world of difference. And you can see how much more healthy her coat and her tail is. She does have the postpartum 'slouchy pouch' hanging belly that cats seem to have forever after a litter, but we don't mention it to her, LOL:

Tell her she looks D@MN good now. She looks 100% better. Am sure she is happier also. Yes she is petite. I know when we found skittles we had no clue she was long haired because she was almost 100% bold and had tape warms ring worms and was starved. She looks different now. She purrs so loud but of course this was 9 months ago. She grewup

Thanks, she is such a lovable cat and soooo affectionate. Loves to be held up on your shoulder and purrs like a chainsaw. It blows me away that someone discarded her like yesterdays trash. We searched and searched to find her 'owners' but no one around here even recognized her. (or at least, they didn't own up to it) It makes me ill.

Skittles is a beautiful cat, she is lucky to have you.

I'll bet, I didn't know about your loss until I read the other thread. I am so sorry. I can only imagine how difficult it must be. My mother was 44 when my Dad died suddenly (my younger brother and sister were 14 and 16). It was very, very hard for her. One day at a time.

Poohandwendy - do you know what colour was the dad of the 8 little darlings (they're gorgeous!!)? Why I ask is because Shezi and Tinkerbelle are similar in colour and my Tinks babies are similar in colour to Shenzi's..except here I got more ginger than dark ones!

I have no idea, there could have been more than one dad for all I know. I don't even know how long she was in our neighborhood, to be honest. She started sleeping under the bushes in our front yard for about a week before I took her in. Then I started feeding her and brought her inside.

I wish I did know, it would be interesting to know where the babies came from.
