Is he trained up with it now?
No! When I try and put it on him he flips around the room like a fish out of water. He now just runs a mile if he see's me with it... I will over come this though. He'll soon realise it's fun. Thats why I want to wait for better weather because he will just sulk if he gets dirty

It really was a hockey weekend! My husband went to the Providence Bruins last night

I did nothing all weekend, just got lots of rest. I am starting to feel a bit better, so I have hope for the upcoming week.

Willow was just the same when I was training him up with it!
Tibby got floppy legs - as though I'd just put a ten tonne weight on his back and Molly was just great with it from the start!! Amazing how differently they all take it!

I'm sure he'll get used to it in time! You'll have to bribe him with a couple of treats!

I attended a really good garden seminar on Saturday. The main speaker was Gordon Hayward. I bought two of his garden design books which he signed for me!! DH & I finished cutting and splitting all the wood from the tree-we have ALOT!!! I bruised another finger and my knee though and really muddied up parts of the yard with the ATV and trailer. We have light rain maybe turning to snow-Northern WI is supposed to get 6-10" Our snow is about 98% melted!!
Starting my tomato and pepper seeds today and getting my backpack ready (and money!!) as tomorrow I'm going to the Chicago Flower show.

Pete got a book an anime, i bought some ingredients that i have been unable to get in the supermarkets. Going to try making some sushi.

Was really tempted by the 'lucky cats'.

Unfortunately the saki set we wanted wasn't available, but they have some really nice dishes.

Cool! Let me know how your sushi goes! I've always wanted to give it a go!

My friend bought me one of the teeny lucky cats for my Birthday last year!
She had to buy me a box to keep it in as it's so small!

Can you make Saki?

We haven't tried to make saki, but we have bought it in our local supermarket. I love it, its great warmed up.

I saw those really tiny cats, so cute.

I need to get some nice cuts of fresh fish and some fresh spinach then its off to the kitchen. The tricky bit will be avoiding all those paws lurking around

I never thought of checking the normal supermarkets!!
I normally but saki in China Town or from one of the many Chinese Supermarkets!!

You'll definitely be able to get some great fresh fish down your end, won't you? Either that or you'll have to take a trip to Parkgate and grab an ice cream while you're there!!

So should I book the date for me to pop over to try your sushi then?!
