My momma cat gave birth LAST NIGHT to foru wonderful babies, but now I'm scared. She was with them for about 12 hours, delivering and all, She came out from under the bed about 1/ 1/2 hours ago. She eat and clean and all that god stuff, but now she has went to sleep on top of my bed, leaving the babies under the bed .. Should I be concerned at this point about warmth for the babies????

Yes..these kittens need to be warm. Here's some advice.

That's a very good website. Also, you may want to get some KMR in case you end up having to bottle feed one or all the kittens. Do you have a nice nesting location for your mom and the kittens??? If not, I would set her up with a box with blankets in it and place her and the kittens in the box.

Mom should remain indoors only now until she has weaned her kittens and been spayed.

Hi and welcome to TCS.

I agree with Katie. It is normal for the mumcat to leave the kittens for a few minutes to eat, drink, use the litter pan and for a quick visit with her humans but it's unusual that she's not been with them for 1 1/2 hours. That link Katie gave you will give some good, inexpensive methods of keeping the little ones warm.
