pop-up blockers?

i have a pop-up blocker that works great but it also won't allow a private message to come up in a seperate window either...is there any way to prevent this without letting the other pop-up's through?

obviously i'd rather just go to the inbox than have pop-ups but if there's a way to fix it that would be great too.

Usually you can go to your popup blocker and allow a certain address - but then you allow all popups from that address

That is one disadvantage of a popup blocker. It also blocks useful popups you want. As I understand it from people who have tried them, it also blocks the popup smilie window here.

I can allow pop-ups, by pressing the "control" key BEFORE clicking the PM or smiley tabs..
