Just 'cause you're the only one who ADMITS it doesn't mean ... well, you know. Maybe you just always want your toothpaste to be "at the ready."
I'm not particularly tidy, but I do always put the lid back on. And if it's the flip-top kind I don't use the flip-top because it's too messy; I screw it on and off like usual. And if the cap gets messy I will spend several minutes, if necessary, cleaning it off. Also, I squeeze from the bottom.
Hmm. Apparently I am tidy—when it comes to toothpaste. Who knew?
I put my cap back on before I put the toothbrush in my mouth. And Lee and I don't use the same toothpaste!! LOL I have to have my own. I don't know why I just like my own!!
I dont normally but the cap back on but sometimes when I'm in the restroom I'll see the cat off and then put it on. I'm a neat person when I've got time to spare.

Provding that i dont lose the cap, I do put it back on everytime, because I don't like the bachelor mints, as we call them. Also I squeeze from the bottom and turn the tube up. And we use differnet toothpastes as well.he loves cinnamon toothpaste gel, which I despise. I use tom's of maine anticavity.
Of course I put it back on. I'm leaving it in the BATHROOM for heavens sake! Who knows what kinda nasty bacteria would find its way in there and decide to take up residence if I left it off.
Incidentally, hubby doesn't put it back on. Which is why we have separate toothpastes (that, and an unwillingness to compromise on the Colgate vs. Crest issue).

It drives me absolutly bonkers when the cap is not back on the tube OR.... when someone in this house squeezes it in the middle and not from the bottom! Really IRKS me!!!
