Ok I've been thiking hard and decided to try out my hand at making a siggy with PhotoStudio....so here it is:

Can someone please check size requirements and what not for me? I may have to go back and get a sharper picture of poor Noodles there, but for now I want to see where I am.

That's cool that you used the garden as a background!

The dimensions are good, but the file size is 37K. It can't be any larger than 30K. If you are not sure how to check, right click on it and select "properties". If you need help resizing, just let me know.

Hmmm...not sure how to get the file size down. I'll have to play with it a bit.

The garden is from a pic of my grandpa's garden. That may be why the file size is large.

You could probably leave the dimensions (560 x 140 pixels), and just reduce the dpi. For example, if it's 72 dpi, which is pretty standard, reducing to 70 dpi should be enough to get it under 30 KB, without any noticeable reduction in quality. I use Paint Shop Pro to make siggies, but find www.irfanview.com (freeware) really easy for resizing, because it shows the dpi, and you can just reduce them a notch or two and save the image.
