Has anyone here ever stayed at a Sandals resort?

Bradley and I are probably going to take our honeymoon at the Sandals Whitehouse in Jamaica. Just wanted to get some honest reviews from folks that I trust!

We watched videos on them when I was going to school for Tourism and they look MARVELOUS! Never been to one but I think you and Bradley would have a wonderful time

I havn't gone, but I did know a couple who did (I believe it was in Jamacia also) and they had a good time. But for specific reviews I can't help. Just overall they enjoyed it I guess.

Never been to a sandals resort...but I have been to Jamaica (twice actaully) it's very nice, but depending on what part of the country you are in I would suggest staying on your resort.

Thanks for the feedback y'all
. We're meeting with the travel agent this week and booking our trip. The only thing that has me just slightly spooked is that we'll be flying out on 9-11
.

Got married in one of the Jamaica resorts (montego bay)! Had a fantastic time & you can use all the resorts, bit dodgy wandering out with beggars & people trying to sell you stuff, but on the resorts the staff are fantastic & you are not allowed to tip! Promised to take her back once the kids are up but maybe tempted by antigua...

My friend is getting married married at one of them next month...I think its the Grande Ochos.
I Haven't been there, but so far have heard nothing but good about them. At this point in the seasons I'd say go for it! Nothing like getting honeymooning where its warm!!!

HA! We're looking at the same places...it's between Whitehouse and Montego Bay! That's toooooo funny! Let me know what your travel agent says. I got a bit of information from ours and basically, you can't go wrong with either one. I've heard fabulous things about them all.

We're taking our honeymoon at Palace Resorts in Cancun. The ultimate decision was made because of how cheap it was and how awesome people we know have said it was. We even got a massage, manicure, and pedicure thrown in for free! The all-inclusive stuff is the way to go though. Have fun! We leave July 13th.

Ummmm....I'd be a bit freaked as well
. That date is like Friday the 13th now. I'm not sure I'd be brave enough to fly that day.

I wouldn't worry about flying on 9/11, you'll be with your new hubby and whirling in wedded bliss!

We went through the Sandals web site last night and looked all their resorts in Jamaica...and STILL cannot decide!! There's so much to do and each one of them are different.

Nate and I wanted to go to the Sandals at Montego Bay. I've heard great things about Sandals. My boss just went to a Jamaican resort with "Moon" in the title and said it was great. I can't remember the name though. He said it exceeded all of his expectations.

That must have been the Half Moon resort...I've heard such nice things about it but I'm not sure if it's adults only. Not that we don't like kids...but for a honeymoon, i think we're leaning adults only.

We still haven't picked out a resort yet...sigh...so much to research!
