It has been absolutely gorgeous here the past few days! It was in the 70's yesterday and 60's today. All of the windows it the house are open. The trees are budding, grass is starting to grow, and the birdies are back! I've seen a bunch of robins too! The girls have been at the windows with thier little noses going constantly! I love it!

So hows it 'springing' where you live?

We have daffodils and the spring peepers (frogs in the woods behind the house) are singing. It's nice (after the morning hail/thunder/flash flooding) and we drove home from a meeting with the windows down.

First storm of the year.

We are having a huge rainstorm in So Calif.
Thunder, lightning, lights out...the whole thing.
I can see snow on the mountain tops from my windows.
We needed this rain desperately.

I have a few yellow crocuses up in the backyard!
It got into the low 60's today and I opened the windows and let some fresh air in. The golf course next door was packed all day also.

Abby also had the Spring crazies most of the day

We had a lovely day here too. The sun was shining and it was 10 degrees. As I was driving past one of the local golf courses it was packed with golfers. My husband was pruning our cherry tree and he said he heard a red-winged blackbird so I guess Spring really is coming. Tomorrow is supposed to be even nicer - 16 degrees. Whoohoo!

"Spring is springing" for some of you, but here "snow is snowing."

Under the cats, mostly.
Hrmn... I think I can sum it all up like this...

Spring has sprung
But the grass ain't riz
I wonder where the birdies is?
The little birds is on the wing
Coz it's still too cold to land
And it don't look all that promising
With the snowball in my hand!

Here it's raining and in the upper 50's to low 60's. It feels frigid to me. I don't know how you people think that 60's is "open the window" weather. It's bundle up weather to me. It's the coldest it's been all winter, and although I agree we need the rain, I HATE this cold weather.

Robins? The only kind of robin I'll see for a while is if I catch someone holding up a bank!

Woke up to snow this morning

And it is still coming down, Pete had to dig the car out at 6.30am to go to work.

Our Robin has been in the garden for several weeks now and is feeding off the fat balls hanging in our rather thread bear Japanese maple
