How do I get Sam to use it?
I've never exposed him to straight catnip before (I've used a spray type on his toys before). He liked it quite a bit when I had it on my hands, but he doesn't seem interested when its on the scratcher.
I'm trying to give him a bit of variety here in order to discourage him from scratching the rug and couch. He's got a scratching post that he uses from time to time, and i have a sisal doormat that he's partial to.
I've tried scratching it myself while he watches me, but he hasn't gotten the idea.
